SossHouse artist and rapper Chavo gave us a sleek new video for his track “Michigan,” off of his 2020 album titled “Chavo’s World.” A collaborative album with his label head and producer Pierre Bourne, Chavo’s World boasts one track in specific that  seems to stand apart from the rest. Michigan is a loose, wavy track that shines a bright spotlight on the rapper’s true talent. The production from decorated producer Pierre Bourne meanders around the bars carelessly, but in a way that emits a unique, effortless style; a style that Pierre fans should be no stranger to. However, this track stands differently in comparison to most we’ve heard. There’s a vibe here that isn’t easily duplicated. Boston rapper Chavo oozes a relentless amount of style on Michigan, rapping while smokin’ up with his SossHouse affiliates, kickin’ back in the studio, roaming the streets and more. His cadence is refreshing and flexible; it wouldn’t be a stretch to be compared to the current style of rapping coming out of Detroit. Although, punchlines and shock value don’t appear to be the center of Chavo’s bars. There’s more of a steezy, wittiness to them; and they sprinkle over the track gracefully.   Born in Boston, Chavo has been making music since the young age of seven. Since moving to Atlanta at 20 years old, the upcoming rapper has been dedicating himself to his craft, releasing projects such as 2019’s Mixed Emotions & Hood Luva, Vol. 1. Now since becoming a key member of SossHouse, Chavo is on a musical journey to create some of the most unique-sounding records to date, with his SH teammates Sharc, Bermuda Yae, JBillz, Jelly, Trill, and of course: Pierre Bourne. Little is known about his come up and how he was able to meet the Atlanta producer, but one thing we do know is that there’s an organic chemistry in SossHouse that will birth nothing but fluid and smooth hits.  Peep the music video for “Michigan” in the link below.
