Reigning from Harvey, Illinois, 30 minutes south of Chicago, heavy bar-spitter Fat Money has constructed a reliable fanbase since arising onto the scene in 2011. He acquired approval from the masses with his 2015 mixtape Cinco De Money, a dark venture that conveyed street-level tales about his old neighborhood. The MC kept the Cinco De Money mixtape series going for quite a long time, each tape showing up on May 5th, and each tape extending Fat Money'ssonic world and elaborate range. Earlier this year, Fat Money shared a video of his freestyle over Baby Keem & Kendrick Lamar's "Family Ties”.
Today, Fat Money seeks to wreak havoc on the music industry with his latest project, the 7-track collection titled Disruptive. The new tape finds the artist flaunting his abilities as a lyricist over some of hip-hop’s more well-known beats, ranging from Young Nudy's "Mini Me," to fellow Chicago rapper Chief Keef's fierce "Harley Quinn," to Beanie Sigel & Jay-Z's classic soul-sampler "It's On." The project is dedicated to the memory of the late Virgil Abloh, who inspired the artwork for the mixtape.
Disruptive is available to stream on SoundCloud and YouTube.
