Lil Rekk has emerged as an artist to look out for here in 2022. Hailing from Philly, the 22-year-old is putting himself in a position to turn into the following breakout star from Highbridge The Label, with the help of his label mates A Boogie wit da Hoodie and Don Q. Lil Rekk will deliver his third mixtape, 1ONE on January 14th through Highbridge The Label/EMPIRE. Named after a moniker from his companions, 1ONE traverses 12 tracks that dig deeper about Rekk’s character and his excursion from his struggles as an adolescent to performing sold-out shows. In front of the undertaking's delivery, Lil Rekk shares the From The Block live performance of the project’s intro, "Confetti”.
Before heating the streets with unwavering songs of devotion "Ooters" and "Time," Lil Rekk comes equipped with authentic stories of how his encounters impact the direction of his vocation. Coordinated by 4 Shooters Only (Chief Keef, G Herbo, and so forth), the "Confetti" visual sees Rekk conveying heavy-hitting bars in a section of Brooklyn, New York. With his roaming childhood between New Jersey and Virginia, his melodic flow makes him a characteristic fit in NYC's underground rap scene. As well as putting his east coast engagement on full showcase, Rekk's comedic side radiates through as he adds the viral “You’re Not That Guy” meme (“N**** think he about that life, you ain’t that guy”).
