London Hill “Respect” ft. LGP Qua

Bronx firecracker London Hill teams up with Philly’s favorite young bull, LGP Qua for the high energy, bar-packed single “Respect” - out this week.

London Hill has been making a name for herself in NYC with a series of fiery singles since 2019 proving her ability as a fierce emcee and easily one of the toughest female drillers in the game. Her lyrical ability, unapologetic energy, and top-notch production are what make her stand out from the pack and why she’s caught so many eyes. “Respect” follows what may be her biggest track to date, “Pressure” a collab with notable NY drill artist, Sosa Geek, that dropped last month and already has over 300K views on Youtube. 

The latest single is just the most recent showcase of London Hill’s no-holds-barred style - she’s got bars and she’s going to get them off whether you like it or not. From the very first line, “I’m not the one to play with” - she lets you know exactly what time it is. Between the unmistakable New York accent, to the tightly-crafted hook, to the seriously impressive command of a big, chaotic drill beat produced by Billionaire Beatz - London Hill may not be one to play with, but she is definitely one to watch.

The video for “Respect” shows that London takes her craft seriously - showcasing various NYC locations, and making sure to show off big drip and big whips throughout. As the name suggests, “Respect” is all about the love that these two hometown favorites get in their respective cities - London in the Bronx (and throughout NYC) and LGP Qua, who rose to popularity with a series of passionate freestyles shot in the streets of Philly, catching the eyes of the industry, including French Montana and the Coke Boys. LGP Qua was the perfect compliment for this track - with that same passionate, high-energy style and aggressive vocal to match London’s that makes for a jam-packed 3 minutes. 

If this is your first time hearing about London Hill, get acquainted because it probably won’t be the last.
