As Rolling Loud California was going on in San Bernardino, a mixtape made up of exclusives artists from some of Los Angeles’ best titled Rolling LAnd was released. It was curated by four important individuals in the new LA hip-hop scene, Justin Credible of the LA Leakers at Power 106, Adrian Swish, Picaso, and TK, with the latter two being the dons of R Baron Group, home of most of the artists featured on this mixtape.
Rolling LAnd features LA heavy-hitters 03 Greedo (Free 03), Drakeo The Ruler, AzChike, BlueBucksClan, and 1TakeJay, among many others. It also features some rising stars which include $uede, Wallie The Sensei, YS, Big Sad 1900, and Baby Stone Gorillas. It includes out of towners in Moe Faygoo, Payroll Giovanni, and a verse from rap veteran Rick Ross. You can see the full 23-track long tracklist below.
TK of R Baron Group spoke on the goal of putting out this project. ‘Rolling LAnd is about bringing together some of the best tastemakers and curators in LA. Justin Credible from Power 106 and the LA Leakers has broken so many artists in the city. Adrian Swish of Digital Currency, veteran manager, and curator who has had his hands on everything from Kid Ink to Icewear Vezzo now. Picaso has worked as an A&R or music curator with everyone from 03 Greedo, Shoreline Mafia, Maxo Kream, Drakeo the Ruler to OVO Radio and Noisey Apple. Myself, TK of R Baron Group who for over 20 years has been active in the culture of pushing LA music and culture.’
