It’s safe to say that the Alabama wave of hip-hop these last couple of years has been severely underrated. Artists such as NoCap, Big Yavo, and Luh Soldier have all made names for themselves, and scored big record deals as of late. One of the leaders of the pack is Rylo Rodriguez. The Mobile, Alabama native has taken his career to the next level these last two years. From signing to Lil Baby’s 4PF imprint, to releasing his debut solo album G.I.H.F. in December of 2020, Rylo has become a force to be reckoned with on the mainstream level.
Rylo Rodriguez is back with an all new single titled “Murder” accompanied by visuals. For “Murder” he calls on Jacksonville native, and young phenom, Nardo Wick. After co-signs from Lil Durk, G Herbo, and Lil Baby, and being featured on the Judas and the Black Messiah soundtrack, Nardo Wick is an artist to watch. Oh, and his track “Who Want Smoke” is sitting at 14 million views on YouTube.
“Murder” is produced by 6lement, and it features a sample from Damian Marley’s “Welcome To Jamrock”. The music video is directed by Diesel Filmz, and the video goes perfectly with the theme of the song. It also includes a cameo appearance by Lil Baby.
