Trap Manny dropped the video for “Mine” featuring Rubi Rose - an early favorite off his new project, ‘In Trap We Trust’ that dropped in March.

“Mine” is a fun, upbeat track with really unique production that samples the iconic violins from Sisqo’s legendary “Thong Song” to create a one-of-a-kind club-trap beat that perfectly pairs with Trap Manny’s booming, affected vocals and party energy.

The visual for “Mine” - which dropped the same day as Trap Manny’s new tape, ‘In Trap We Trust’ - is a well-produced, high-end affair that goes perfectly with the extravagance and undeniable energy of the high-rolling party track. The video, matching the vibe of Trap Manny’s gritty-yet-highly produced sound, alternates between crisp, wide-angle shots of the over-the-top mansion setting and grainy, behind the scenes Super-8 footage of the mansion party.

“Mine” already appears to be a fan-favorite off ‘In Trap We Trust’, an 8-track project with features from heavy hitters including Lil Durk, Pop Smoke (RIP), and fellow Highbridge the Label members, A Boogie and Don Q. It also features tracks like “50K”, Trap’s collab with the late-legend, Pop Smoke, as well the Highbridge trio’s certified smash that dropped last fall, “Vroom Vroom.”

Last year after dropping his debut album, Trap Seazon in 2019, Trap Manny delivered several singles including “Talk That”, “Reach a Millie”, “One Night Stand”, and the aforementioned “Vroom Vroom” collaboration in the leadup to his latest project - a process that was documented island fans can see more of on Trap’s vlog series, “Into The Trap” on his Youtube page. Trap Manny also gave a dope feature last year on Sada Baby’s track, “Outside” off his album, Skuba Sada 2

Not forgetting about the talented Rubi Rose, she makes a great addition to the track, delivering a killer verse that perfectly matches the vibe of the track as she joins Trap by the pool to take in his hard-not-to-notice physique. Rubi has been killing it this past year since first gaining popularity in 2019 with her hit track, “Big Mouth” she’s been on an upward trajectory, dropping more hits like “Pretty MF” and “He In His Feelings” leading up to her hugely well-received album in December 2020, ‘For The Streets’. It’s also worth noting that Rubi is signed to Hitco Entertainment - the seldom-talked-about LA Reid-founded record label that’s quietly grown multiple stars in recent years including SAINt JHN, Dixie D’amelio, and Yella Beezy, not to mention Big Boi and Jennifer Hudson. Based on her recent performance, it looks like they’ve got another star on their hands with Rubi Rose.
