Xavier Wulf Releases Visuals for “TOP DEAD CENTER”

by Noah Soria on January 19, 2022

If you’re talking about pioneers of the Soundcloud era, you can’t forget to mention Xavier Wulf. From his early Soundcloud days as a member of Raider Klan, and then going on global tours alongside SESHOLLOWATERBOYZ (BONES, Chris Travis, Eddy Baker). He's proved that he still has plenty of gas left in the tank for his cult-like fanbase, as he closed out 2021 with, GARAGE PUNK, a collab EP with fellow Hollow Squad producer, Quintin Lamb. It's a hard-hitting five-piece perfectly suited for repeat listens, as Wulf sheds his sheep's clothing and achieves a sinister symbiosis with Lamb's horror film instrumentals.

Perhaps the hardest cut from the EP is "TOP DEAD CENTER" where Xavier works a lockstep trio flow as he destroys his opposition in record time: "I remember when you didn't wanna see me win/Now you pretend and lie to them as if we been friends." To follow up the release of the EP, Xavier dropped a "TOP DEAD CENTER"-scored recap video, directed by thereelmj, from one of his recent shows at a car show in Anaheim, California. The visual features camera pans from close-ups of the Hollow Squad fans to loving shots of the custom foreign whips that were on display. After ending 2021 on a high note, it looks like Xavier Wulf is gearing up to have a big 2022. You can watch the visuals for "TOP DEAD CENTER" below, and you can stream GARAGE PUNK on all streaming platforms.
