20 year old Compton artist YS is kicking off 2021 with a brand new visual for "9x's" from his recently released project "Cold Hearted". After going viral with the hit single "Bompton" featuring Ohgeesy and 1TakeJay, gaining over 5 million views on YouTube, he is refusing to let his foot off the gas. The Compton emcee takes the frosty concept of his project to the Bijan Productions visual as grey skies set the stage for YS' performance. With incredible scenes of the pacific palisades, YS appears solo, in a reflective state as he raps "I used to be broke, but I got me a sack, never look backwards I squeeze on the strap."
The young artist is showing tons of promise due to his consistency, and tenacity. Although he released two projects in 2020, one coming less than a month ago, and the other being a joint project with L.A. stalwart RonRonTheProducer, he is already teasing a full length project with a popular platinum producer from Detroit that is set to drop in the coming months. His work ethic is seemingly 9x's that of his peers.
