Rapper and producer Yung Baby Tate is forecasting nothing but bad bitch weather with her infectious video for “I Am” featuring another talented MC known as Flo Milli. A colorful, palettable visual that’s cradled by a dope, Neptunes-esque beat produced by Slade Da Monsta; you enjoy nothing less than a good time with “I Am.” Yung Baby Tate truly gets in her bag, rapping:

“Who that is, bitch? I am healthy, I am wealthy, I am rich, I am that bitch (yeah), I am gonna go get that bag and I am not gonna take your shit (uh).”

She doesn’t even begin to hold back, radiating strong energy in unison with her fellow queens, who do nothing but help her convey who she truly is. The video is so well directed and shot, switching between mediums like film, photo, and digital to completely curate the playful energy that is Yung Baby Tate. And to add in Flo Milli, is just the icing on the cake. These two joining forces is yet a force one doesn’t want to reckon with. The rich and vibrant outfits, finely selected settings, and ego-driven takes “I Am” into a whole other realm of newly defined hip-hop music. There was definitely a strong team of individuals brought together to create such a masterpiece, but at the eye of its storm is just another talented artist looking to leave her mark, in her own way.   ‘

Yung Baby Tate, born Tate Sequoya Farris, has began to see immense success since her 2019 single titled “STUPID.” This hit rattled a Billboard chart known as Billboard’s “Bubbling Under Hot 100.” It came close to finding its way to mainstream charts, however, Baby Tate is unworried. She’s performed with fellow star rappers Buddy and Guapdad 4000, released her 2020 EP on Issa Rae’s own label Raedio, and was featured on Rae’s HBO Original Series Insecure soundtrack album. So, this Georgia rapper is nothing short of a young talent on a strong and steep rise.
