Breakfast Club Scraps Interview with Sleepy Hallow for Safety Concerns

The Brooklyn rapper took to social media to share his latest frustrations after a number of interviews were cancelled.

Sleepy Hallow shared his reaction with his fans online after he learned a number of upcoming interviews were scrapped, due to “security issues.”

“Last week I had a mental health expo I couldn’t attend cause they said something about ‘safety issues,’” he said. “Today The Breakfast Club dubbed me talking bout ‘security issues’ like they ain’t know I was coming this whole week.”

“Honestly I know it’s cause of my court case,” he added.  “But I thought I was innocent until proven guilty lol.”

Back in May, Hallow and fellow Brooklyn drill rapper Sheff G were indicted with 32 alleged 8 Trey Crips and the associated 9 Ways gang members.

According to the 140-count indictment, the alleged members are accused of second-degree murder, second-degree attempted murder, second-degree conspiracy, second-degree criminal weapon possession, first-degree assault, first-degree attempted assault, second-degree kidnapping, first-degree gang assault, first-degree reckless endangerment, and other crimes.

Sheff G, real name Michael Williams, 24, used funds he obtained through his career to “help facilitate further gang activity” and motivate accused gang members with celebratory feasts, jewelry, and video appearances in a connection to a series of Brooklyn shootings

Sleepy Hallow, born Tegan Chambers currently is fighting conspiracy charges as he was labeled Williams’ co-conspirator.

“The senseless gun violence, allegedly committed by these defendants, terrorized our neighbors for years and left more than a dozen people with serious injuries,” District Attorney Eric Gonzalez stated. “It is distressing to know that some of the violence was allegedly fueled by a young man who used money he made from a successful music career to allegedly pay for and encourage acts of violence.”

After airing out his annoyance, Adam22 responded and informed the rapper he’s more than welcome to come to No Jumper for an interview.

“Lol Just do no jumper wtf is the breakfast gonna ask you,” he wrote.
