Man Arrested For Shooting CEO Jizzle At Lil Baby’s Concert

Law enforcement has arrested a suspect in connection to a shooting that happened during a Lil Baby concert in Memphis.

After a three-week investigation, the Memphis police department said that 22-year-old Kevin Young has been taken into custody for the shooting that left Young Dolph’s cousin, CEO Jizzle, seriously hurt. The authorities say that Young is a “well-documented gang member associated with the Rich and Ruthless Gang.” He was arrested in 2019 for aggravated assault and in 2017 for first-degree murder.

In a news release shared online from the department, they stated that Young was found in a residence with ammo and large amounts of marijuana.

“On September 27, 2023, officers from the Multi-Agency Gang Unit, Gun Crimes Unit, Fugitive Team, Applying Farms Taskforce, ATF and Shelby County Fugitive Apprehension Team went to an address on the 2000 block of Duncanshire Road on an attempt to pick up for suspect Kevin Young. Young was located and apprehended at this location without incident.” the department said in their statement.

Earlier this month, Lill Baby made a stop in Memphis during his It’s Only Us tour and performed at the FedEx Forum, but his set was cut short. Shots were fired just 30 minutes into the show, leaving CEO Jizzle, who is Young Dolph’s cousin, hurt and hospitalized.

After the incident, Lil Baby released a statement offering a full refund for concertgoers who were present during the shooting.

“Due to the unforeseen events that took place in Memphis last night, I was not able to give my fan a full performance.” the Quality Control artist shared online following the incident. As a result, a full refund will be issued to all those in attendance. Further details on how ticket holders can receive their refund will be provided by Ticketmaster directly.”

Young is currently being held without bond.
