Will the new Ice Spice Munchkins Drink be Ice Spice’s next big hit?
Dunkin’ launched an ad for their new “Ice Spice Munchkins Drink” on Wednesday after the “Munch” rapper won the Best New Artist award at the VMAs.
“I’m a Dunkin’ girl,” she said as she shared the commercial scene with Ben Affleck.
Affleck produced the franchise’s new commercial through the Ben Affleck Artists Equity. The premise of the commercial is centered around the two stars trying to come up with a good marketing name for the drink.
When Affleck couldn’t see the connection between the Bronx rapper and the franchise, Spice revealed multiple hints of her limited edition frozen collaborative drink.
“Ice Spice… Ice Spice. My fans are the munchkins… Ice Spice Munchkin Drink,” she said.
According to KTLA 5 Morning News, the limited edition beverage contains blended Pumpkin Munchkins Donut Hole Treats, creamy frozen coffee drizzled with caramel topped with whipped cream.
Fans then shared their opinions on the new Ice Spice Munchkin drink on social media following the commercial release. As they shared their overall thoughts on the collaboration, the Munchkins fanbase gave the drink a “fire” stamp of approval.
Likewise, the company’s chief marketing officer, Jill McVicar Nelson, explained that the new Ice Spice Munchkin drink came about to shake up the “predictable” pumpkin spice game within the industry. Nelson then claimed that the new Munchkin drink is a fun answer to the dilemma.
“Pumpkin spice season has gotten a bit predictable lately, so we sought help from our friends Ben Affleck and Ice Spice to create a new pumpkin obsession that only Dunkin’ can offer,” the Chief Marketing Officer said.
Fans can buy the limited edition thirst-quenching drink from Sep. 13 through Oct. 31.
